Control solution for the On Call Ketone blood ketone test strips used in the On Call GK Dual meter system by Mission. 

The ACON On Call Ketone Control Solution is designed to verify the proper operation of the ketone testing element of the ACON On Call GK 2-in-1 Glucose and Ketone Meter along with its corresponding ketone test strips. This verification process relies on the utilisation of a pre-calibrated control solution.

The On Call® Ketone Control Solution is formulated with a specific concentration of β-Ketone. Its purpose is to verify the correct accuracy of your On Call® Blood Ketone Test Strips and On Call® GK Dual Blood Glucose & Ketone Meter. All solutions are preserved within an aqueous-based mixture.

On Call Ketone Control Solution concentrations

  • Control solution 0 contains less than 0.01% β-Ketone (active ingredient),
  • Control Solution 1 contains less than 0.04% β-Ketone (active ingredient)
  • Control Solution 2 contains less than 0.06% β-Ketone (active ingredient).

Universal control solution can be used with any batch or lot number of On Call Ketone blood test strips. The On Call Ketone control solution is specific to the On Call GK series of meters and should not be used with any other brand of blood ketone meter system.
